ITALIAN GRAND PRIX 2025 (MONZA)

The shortest race in F1 history, with a few incidents but not big ones. Most of the drama came from McLaren messing up the pit stop for Lando in the end, then asking Oscar to let him by. Commentators and stewards were being really hard on Kimi Antonelli at his home race. The best part of the race was seeing how happy Max was to have won again! 

Practices 

• red flag for gravel and Charles tries to slow fast enough to to avoid passing another car but it’s impossible but they don’t penalize him

• George red flag for losing power

• Davide Valsecchi is here for the F1 love channel! 

• Kimi gets beached in the gravel from going too hard around a corner and his session is over and red flag, noooo kimi! 

Qualifying 

• first time Hadjar is out in q1

• Max on pole! Takes the new track lap record away from Hamilton

• Oscar and Lando second and third. Charles out qualified Hamilton, and Kimi was right behind George 

Race

• they tell Nico Hulkenberg to pit on the formation lap to box to retire the car 

• Lando forces Max off at first corner for the lead and Max goes off the track to keep the lead so they tell him to give it back and he does but he still passes Lando again for the lead

• Charles and Oscar fighting for third but then Oscar gets the position 

• Ocon gets 5 second penalty for forcing Stroll off the track 

• Alonso goes over the rumble strip curbs in a corner and it causes a rear suspension failure and he has to retire the car. Seemed like he was going to cause a safety car but he makes it to the pits 

• Charles steams into the pits and brakes hard before the speed limit line so hopefully he slowed it down enough to be at the right speed limit for the pit 

• Black and white flag for Gasly for track limits 

• Carlos and Ollie collide with reach other but keep going and Bearman gets a penalty

• Lando has a long stop and Oscar gets ahead! But then they order Oscar to let Lando by which he does and now he is racing to get back to second 

• 5 second penalty for Kimi for driving erratically when he pushed Albon off track 

• Max wins!! Then Lando and Oscar, Charles, George, Hamilton 

• Davide Valsecchi does the post race interviews and I absolutely love it, it sounds like he calls Max Verstappen the race wiener

• The fastest race in F1 history, it was barely an hour and a half

DUTCH GRAND PRIX 2025

What an exciting race! I don’t want this to be the second to last year of the Dutch Grand Prix because I love this one. From the first lap when Max almost slid on the grass getting past Lando to the last lap when Max got his second place, the whole race was packed with exciting race moments. Crazy that Lando’s mechanical failure cost him second place and that poor Kimi hit Charles and that Hamilton crashed on his own and that Isack Hadjar got third. I really wanted Max to storm at the end with the rain coming in to get the lead, but he was wise not to do anything risky. Great classic drama at this race and a great outcome! 

Practices 

• Kimi Antonelli goes off and beaches in the gravel and red flags 

• Lewis and Yuki also have spins 

• Max beaches into the gravel after the session while doing a practice start which is a very unusual mistake from him 

• Practice 2, Lance Stroll red flags for a big crash from locking up, it’s the same corner as where Daniel Ricciardo crashed and broke his hand a few years ago 

• Hamilton spins

• Albon has a crash and is beached and red flag

• Isack Hadjar has to stop the car for mechanical issues 

• Oscar went to pull into wrong area of his pit box apparently and then cut off George Russell in the pit lane 

Qualifying 

• Lance Stroll crashes AGAIN and ruins his qualifying on the first fast lap in Q1

• Kimi and Yuki out in Q2

• Oscar on pole! Then Lando and Max

Race

• Max passes Lando for second on lap 1 and nearly slides off the track in the process but makes it! 

• Awww Lando gets back around Max for second 

• Rain starting 

• Hamilton goes into the wall after his pit stop and crashes out! 

• Lando has a long pit stop 

• Lawson and Sainz collide on the safety car restart after Hamilton’s crash and Sainz calls Lawson so stupid but both keep going somehow 

• Bortoleto being investigated for driving unsafely I think 

• Virtual safety car for cleaning up debris on the track 

• Sainz gets 10 second time penalty for causing a collision

• Charles and George fighting is INSANE and Charles gets ahead but man is Charles in a rage and they’re investigating it after the race

• George told to switch position with Kimi because George has damage and they are trying to catch Charles ahead 

• OH NOOOO KIMI HIT CHARLES and it was Kimi’s fault and Charles is out now and Kimi has a ten second time penalty and now there’s a second safety car 

• Charles is sitting out on a Dutch sand dune like he’s been completely forgotten 

• And NOW Kimi is being investigated for speeding in the pit lane and gets a 5 second penalty in addition to the ten seconds 

• MECHANICAL FAILURE FOR LANDO IN SECOND so now it’s Oscar leading, Max and ISACK HADJAR in third

• Oscar wins, Maxy in second and Isack Hadjar in third, thats CRAZY

HUNGARIAN GRAND PRIX 2025

The last race before summer break and we still don’t know if Max will go to Mercedes. The Grand Prix was complex with pit strategies, but Ferrari’s decisions ultimately led Charles to fall back to fourth after starting on pole and the McLarens to have a nail-biting race to the finish line. I can’t believe a Racing Bull finished in front of Max and that Yuki finished in 18th, so far in the back again. 

Qualifying 

• Yuki is out in Q1 AGAIN

• Hamilton out in Q2!!

• Somehow both Aston Martins are in Q3

• Really weird cars in Q3

• Charles on pole out of nowhere while Hamilton is down in like 15th!!

• Max could only do 8th in the car 

• Both McLarens not great at the end

• Charles on pole, then Oscar. Then Lando 

Race

• Charles keeps the lead in a chaotic start 

• Hulkenberg gets a penalty for a false start 

• 51/70 Oscar gets past Charles for the lead 

• Ollie Bearman retires with a mechanical failure 

• Ferrari changed something on Charles car and didn’t tell Charles but Charles could tell and he is furious because it’s costing him time and he is falling down the order slowly

• Charles is so furious that when George tries to get past him for 3rd, Charles is driving erratically and is under investigation and gets a 5 second penalty for driving erratically which is so unlike him

• Pierre Gasly gets a penalty for causing a collision with Sainz

• Oscar couldn’t catch Lando and locked up when he had a chance to pass him 

• Liam Lawson finished in 8th place with Max in 9th and Yuki in 18th UGHHH

• Lando wins, Oscar in second, George in third
