ITALIAN GRAND PRIX 2022

Free Practice 3

- Alex Albon had appendicitis and is out of the Grand Prix this weekend and Nyck DeVries is going to sit in for him

- Ferrari has made everything yellow, what on earth

Qualifying

- everyone has so many penalties that it is pointless to even write down the results of quali because it’s just going to change entirely once penalties are applied

- Charles on pole!!

Race

- this is the most WHACK grid I’ve ever seen, including Nyck Devries first race

- Charles keeps the lead after start!

- Max is already in third by lap 2

- Hamilton is still in 19th by lap 4 lol because he went wide on the first lap

- 5/53 Max is already in second

- 8/53 they pit Perez because his brakes are overheated and after the pit they still have a flame and smoke on the right front of the brakes overheating and they are hoping the flame will go out

- Puff of smoke for Seb and says he is losing power and yellow flag for him and he is out of the race and virtual safety car and they think there will be a huge rush to the pit lane for the vsc but only Charles makes it to the pit lane for new tires before the vsc goes green again and no one else can pit

- So now Charles comes out in third and is the only one that benefited from the shorter time loss stop for the vsc but we don’t know is Charles will be able to take these medium tires ti the end

- Nyck devries is doing a good job hanging on to 8th where he started and he also got black and white flag for track limits but it’s still pretty good all things considered

- Stroll retires for some kind of energy problem

- 47/53 Daniel pulls over with engine destroyed and yellow flag and now SAFETY CAR

- Max and Charles miss the pit lane before the safety car is called but they pit George and Sainz after the safety car so this is not good. But the safety car is long enough so Max and Charles so get to pit

- They finish the race behind Daniel’s safety car so Charles doesn’t get a chance to challenge Max

- Max wins, Charles in second, George in third

- Nyck Devries finishes in 9th and scored points on debut

- The fans are booing because we finished under safety car and they’re upset Charles didn’t get a chance to challenge

- The tifosi are booing Max during his interview and podium and it’s his first time on their podium and it’s so unfair, he didn’t do anything, this was entirely the race directors fault for not calling the safety car as a red flag if they were going to have a racing finish and Ferrari’s fault for not having the pace so do not boo Max! He is being so gracious

- This is actually a heartbreaking podium and post race because you can just feel the weight of Charles disappointment and wishing he could have won for the fans and Max is being so gracious and not living it up to rub it in and I love that and George Russell is talking to both of them and like putting a hand on Charles’ shoulder in solidarity and it’s just so much emotion, I honestly feel like crying

BELGIAN GRAND PRIX 2022

Free practice 1

- WOW SO MUCH HAPPENED over the summer break including Seb announcing retiring, then Alonso leaving Alpine for Aston Martin to take Seb’s spot, then Alpine announcing their reserve driver Oscar Piastri as their driver for next year, then Oscar going on social media to say he will NOT be driving for Alpine next year, then Alpine insisting he has to contractually, then rumors he was going to go to McLaren to replace Daniel Ricciardo and then just no news until a couple days ago when Daniel announced he is leaving Mclaren and his future being uncertain now

- Back at Spa and it’s rainy again after last year when the race when rained out

- Liam Lawson is in for Gasly in Alpha Tauri! Yay Liam!!

- Red flag because Kevin stopped on the straight cause his car died

Free Practice 2

- nothing happened here EXCEPT they played an interview with Otmar basically roasting Oscar Piastri for having no integrity and saying he wished he had shown more maturity and stuff about the contract stuff and it was shockingly mean

Free Practice 3

- Charles goes into the gravel and they throw a red very quickly but he didn’t actually damage the car

Qualifying

- delay to start for barrier repairs from Porsche supercup crash

- Out in Q1: Vettel, Latifi, Magnussen, Tsunoda, and Bot? That’s super weird that Bot got out cause that never happens

- Out in Q2: Daniel, Gasly, Zhou, Stroll, Lil Schu

- Ferrari put Charles on the wrong tires and now he can’t tow Sainz and it’s ANOTHER unforced Ferrari strategy error and this is ruining his quali and fortunately he was already going to start with penalties so it won’t be that bad but still.

- Max gets pole technically but will start at back for penalties, so Sainz has a terrible lap but is still on pole after getting second because of Max’s penalties

- It’s literally too confusing to write down the starting order because the penalties

Race

- Perez has a terrible start and drops back from second so Sainz in first then Alonso and Hamilton AND THRN HAMILTON DRIVES INTO ALONSO and HAMILTON HAS TO RETIRE YAYAAYAYYYYYY! Hamilton really got tossed in the air and it was entirely his own fault

- Then Latifi nearly takes out Ocon after dipping a tire but then DOES plough into Bottas and Bottas is beached and has to retire and SAFETY CAR

- Alonso gets on the radio and calls Hamilton an idiot and says he doesn’t know how to race except from the front

- No further investigation for Hamilton and Alonso which means it was Hamilton’s fault and everyone knows it

- Martin says the blame was 100% Hamilton for the collision

- Sainz has a lockup on the start but Perez has not been on the attack well from second so Sainz keeps the lead

- Charles reports a problem with front right and it might have been a weird puncture so they put him during the safety car

- Maxy is FLYING through the field and by lap 8 he is 3rd after starting at the back!! Charles is trying to move up through the field

- Sergio really didn’t leave a space when he was blocking Charles and they touched and it was weird cause it was kind of dirty by Sergio

- 18/44 Max passes Sainz for the lead!! Ahhh Max is having an awesome race!!

- They pit Charles before the last lap to try and get the fastest lap but it was a TERRIBLE idea because they timed it terribly and released him into Alonso and then he had to just try and get back past Alonso for the whole last lap and he didn’t get fastest lap anyway and THEN they said that apparently he sped in the pit lane for the unnecessary stop and gave him a five second time penalty so he finished one position behind than he would have and it cost him 2 points overall and they didn’t give anyone else a penalty for anything the whole race so

- Max has a little slide in the way to the finish line and when watching in the break room he was laughing at it

- Max wins!!! Beautiful race from him!! Then Perez in second and Sainz in third

DUTCH GRAND PRIX 2022

Free Practice 1

• YAY MAXY LAND

• So much beautiful orange!!

• They announce over the radio that Max was basically Dutch knighted!!

• OH NO Max’s gearbox has an issue and is smoking and it dies!! He has a red flag! So many people watching in awe as Maxy walks back

• OH MY GOSH they announced Oscar Piastri WILL race for Mclaren next year

Qualifying

• out in Q1: Latifi, Vettel, Daniel, Kevin Magnussen, Bottas

• Someone threw a live orange smoke flair into the middle of the track and caused a red flag

• Pigeons on the track everyone

• This is especially bad because Mclaren wanted both drivers in Q3 and Lando got like 5th in Q1 while Daniel got like 17th

• Out in Q2: Gasly, both Alpines, Zhou, Albon

• Stroll has some problem that prevents him from participating in the rest of Q3

• With a minute left someone throws ANOTHER orange flair on the track but fortunately it rolls away and goes out but come in guys

• WOAH Sergio has a spin in the last lap of quali that prevents either Mercedes’ from finishing their last fast lap and this could have kept Max on pole but we will never know

• Max on pole again!!!! WOOO

• Charles in second and Sainz in third

Race

• max retains the lead!!

• Nothing going on early in the race except Kevin has a dramatic slide off but manages to keep going

• Hamilton hits Sainz on the first corner but they both keep going but this is the second week in a row he’s run into someone and of course no penalties

• They pit Sainz early to try and COMPLETELY mess it up, like it’s so bad it’s laughable, they don’t have a tire ready for Carlos and left their wheel gun way in the way of Perez who was putting next to them and Perez ran over the wheel gun that was in his path because Ferrari is so awful

• 46/72 Yuki has pulled over claiming the tires aren’t fitted and everyone thinks it’s going to be a safety car that will help Maxy but then the team says the tires are fitted and so Yuki starts again and comes into the pits and they take forever changing the tires and then messing with his seat belts and then when he goes back out and they still have to retire him and everyone benefits from the vsc

• Yuki incident investigated after the race

• Bot has a problem and stops on the straight and it triggers MASS CONFUSION

• Sainz passes Ocon on the straight under yellows where there is a stopped car

• Safety car through the pit lane whilst all the people are putting

• Sainz manages to hit Alonso in the pit lane

• Maxy on new tires and Hamilton not by the end of this

• Mercedes trying to keep Max behind him BUT AS SOON AS THERES A GREEN FLAG MAXY GOES STRAIGHT PAST HAMILTON AND IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL

• Hamilton is furious hahahahha

• NOW GEORGE HAS PASSED HAMILTON FOR SECOND

• NOW CHARLES PASSES HAMILTON FOR THIRD

• It’s like Hamilton has just quit trying cause he’s so furious and he is just dropping

• YESSSS HAMILTON IS SO FURIOUS

• WOOOOOOOOOO MAX WINSSSSSSSSS

• George in second and Charles in third!! What an awesome result for this race!!
