IMOLA GRAND PRIX 2025 (EMILIA-ROMAGNA)

A somewhat quiet race with the most exciting part being Max’s brilliant overtake of Oscar in the first corner. Exciting to see Red Bull’s 400th race and Max on the top step again! 

Practices 

• red flag for Hadjar going off and hitting the barrier and then getting beached 

Qualifying

• Yuki has a HUGE crash and rolls to go upside down but he’s okay

• Colapinto in his first return race goes before he is supposed to during the red flag and then has a huge crash so second long red flag 

• Charles, Hamilton and Antonelli are all out in Q2

• Piastri in pole and Maxy in second 

Race

• Max does an amazing move to overtake Oscar at the first corner 

• A virtual safety car for Ocon’s car dying 

• A full safety car for Kimi Antonelli’s car dying 

• Somehow Hamilton gets by Charles at the very end 

• Lando gets by Oscar in the end for second

• The safety cars really helped Max

• Max wins!! Lando in second, Oscar in third 

• Red Bull’s 400th race in F1

• Charles had a miserable race
