MAX VERSTAPPEN IS WORLD CHAMPION

I have never been more proud than I was this past winter, knowing that Red Bull Racing and their Dutch wunderkind, Max Verstappen, had taken the driver's championship.

There is no way on this earthly plane to express how I wanted this and needed this to happen.

But I just wanted to take a moment to say that, no matter what had happened at the end of that 2021 season, Max was champion to me. Others have had their day, but this boy has worked so hard and proven in every way that he is the champion of the world. And now the world knows it, too. No matter what happens now, I will always remember this victory and celebrate it and thank God that we got to see it.
