One month from today, the race will already have been driven in Melbourne and the 2020 season of F1 will have officially begun.

But for right now, we're in Car Launch season and, for me, it has mainly consisted of:

- reeling over the changes made in the livery from Toro Rosso to Alpha Tauri

- wondering why McLaren didn't change the stripe on the suits accentuating the driver's crotches and instead chose to give it more accentuation by creating an IBM-like stripe pattern which still leads to the same place

- crying laughing over the insane Ferrari launch, which included a full orchestra, a light show, and dancers in red leotards. So they might have made technical advancements that could take them to the moon (who knows), but from what we can see, the absurdity of the car launch was made even better by the fact that the livery they revealed looked almost exactly the same

- wondering how we are ever going to know who we are talking about when we say "the Alphas" now that Alpha Romeo and Alpha Tauri are both there. I think we should have just kept them Sauber and Toro Rosso.

And, finally, I've been counting the days until we get to start this season. Australia can't get here soon enough.
