IMOLA GRAND PRIX 2021

Biggest points of the weekend: in FP1, there was an incident between Perez in the Red Bull and Ocon in the Alpine that wasn't caught on camera, so that reminded everyone of old drama of when they were both at Force India. Mazepin literally could not stay on track the entire weekend again. Charles crashed at the end of FP2. Couple of red flags in the free practices but nothing too big.

Quali was totally unpredictable, with Hamilton getting pole, but Perez getting second, then Max and Charles in fourth. Lando put an amazing time on in Q3 but got it deleted for track limits so he wasn't in the top !

The biggest moment of the race was when Bottas, who was having a horrifying race, collided with George Russell and they both had a terrifying high speed crash which took both of them out of the race. George got out of the car and walked up to Bottas in his cockpit still and blamed him asking fi he was trying to get them both killed and then Bottas gave George the finger. It was the craziest crash between the two Mercedes numbers two drivers. Huge drama.

And suspiciously, all of this happened to pull a convenient red flag after Hamilton had just crashed into the gravel and was two laps down, but then the red flag meant he was a able to unlap himself so he finished in second. It was horrible.

Max won the race fabulously, though, and we were so happy! Awesome to have Lando on the podium too after he almost put his car up on pole in qualifying. It would have been a perfect podium with Max, Lando and Charles if it weren't for Hamilton getting a leg up by the Bottas and Russell red flag. SO CLOSE.

Here are my notes:

Free Practice 1

• FIRST THING that happens before the commentary on the F1 tv channel even starts is MAZEPIN IS IN THE GRAVEL. Like it’s not even five minutes in. First thing that happens the whole weekend. Unbelievable!! And now there’s gravel all around the track which he dragged back on the track from this

• Natalie is back on commentary for FP1 again with Damon and Antony

• Still gonna be a process of getting used to these one hour practice sessions instead of an hour and a half

• Gonna be looking at track limits this weekend which makes me upset because last race there was enforced track limits for ONLY SOME PEOPLE. And someone put together a video online of the 29 times Lewis went over track limits at the same corner and the Max does it once to pass Lewis at the end and of course THAT isn’t allowed but Lewis can do that the rest of the race no problem.....

• Yuki has a little off into the gravel

• Max has an off into the gravel but it went straight though a corner and didn’t even stop so not a big deal

• Hamilton goes off into the grass

• RED FLAG because of some kind of collision between Ocon and Perez. All we see first is that Perez is off and has lost his whole back left tire and then shows Ocon off a ways ahead on the track and lost suspension? There have been some technical issues with the picture for the coverage so we can’t see what happened and the only video we have of it is right when it’s going through the turn after the incident already happened so there’s a lot of guessing but it’s really likely that they collided and also really drama because it’s Ocon and Perez incident like back in the Force India days when they did not get along. Not sure if we will see what happened.

• Clock still ticking with the red flag and can go back out with ten minutes left

• Sainz clips the gravel but gets away with it

• Latifi going through the gravel

• At the end of the session Mazepin spins AGAIN on the last turn and puts it into the wall RIGHT on the pit entrance so that every driver goes past his crashed Haas on the way to the pit and it’s the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever seen OH MY GOSH

FP2

• both Perez and Ocon went to the stewards to explain what happened and they came together and it was like a racing incident just because the major issues with technical stuff made it so that we couldn’t see what was happening and also there was no radio for many cars so overall no one knows what happened and it’s just a racing incident

Free Practice 2

• Max was on a fast lap and 15 min into the hour session and suddenly Max’s car lost drive and he had to park it and virtual safety car and they had to tow it away and it has not been a good start for Red Bull since the first session had the Perez and Ocon incident and this session has started with Max losing drive and losing out on the info from the rest of this session

• Alo has a rocky ride over a curb and they were talking about how he still has metal in his jaw from his bicycle crash a couple months ago

• Oh NO Charles has a crash into the wall from losing the rear and it looked bad at first but then he was okay and they red flagged it because there were only 2 min left of the session and he was right in trajectory line of a car going off and couldn’t go get him without it so session wasn’t restarted but probably not as much damage as it initially seemed

FP3

• people are getting lap times deleted left and right for track limits

• Really talking up Charles having amazing pace yesterday

• Red flag for Latifi losing the car into a turn and it slid really fast through the gravel and ended up only hitting the wall lightly though and was able to get the car going and out of the gravel again and back to the pit so the red flag was very short and running again almost immediately

• This is gonna be another one of those track limits eye roll track situations again and we all feel quali is going to be nuts with the track limits

• Max went over a yellow sausage curb and it looked really bad because he was like airborne for a split second and then he had to go back to the garage but it was apparently fine

• Wow all of these times are super close for the fast laps and I have no idea what’s going to happen in quali

• Kimi has a big trip through the gravel but keeps it going and minimal damage

• Gio has a spin into the gravel and yellow flags it but gets it going again

Qualifying

• it’s cold again, only 53 degrees like it was in FP3 earlier today

• About 15 min into Q1, they do an homage au fromage like reserve drivers!

• Red flag in Q1 with 12 min left because Yuki Tsunoda has a slide into a wall and hits the back of the car and they think it did a huge amount of damage to the car and is going to already need a new gearbox or start from pit lane and brings out the medical car. Now need to clean up a lot of debris on the track

• Out in Q1: Kimi, Gio, Mick Schumacher, Mazepin and Tsunoda because he crashed out without a time

• So its the first time Latifi outqualified George in Q1. But both George and Latifi are in Q2

• Out in Q2: Sainz, Russell, Vettel, Latifi, and Alonso

• So everyone is shocked that Sainz is out because Charles was up near the top of the times

• Lots of track limits issues that made this stressful

• Seb is just not performing right now in the Aston Martin

• Lando put it in 2nd but then had time deleted for track limits at the end of Q3!!

• Ugh Hamilton gets lucky and gets pole, Perez is in second tho!! And then Max, then charles and then Bottas, who was having problems, and Lando will be the dark horse

• First interviews after quali without anyone wearing a mask during their interview

Race

• OH MY GOSH ITS COLD AND RAINY, THIS IS SO UNEXPECTED

• Rain is still coming down lightly and someone mentioned this could happen but it was so unexpected and when we turned on the pre race show and it was cold and rainy, it was like a jaw drop moment

• Seb is starting from the pit lane because something broke or burned off the back of the pack

• Parts of the track are dry and parts are wet OH MY GOSH

• Some people are on full wets and some are on intermediates

• It’s cold so track not going to dry out quickly and there’s a lot of spray

• No one knows how much grip there is because no one has wet conditions on practice or qualifying

• CHARLES SPINS ON FORMATION LAP

• COMPLETELY WILD FIRST LAP OF SPRAY AND PEOPLE GOING WIDE OR SPINNING

• Max gets into first off the line and beats Lewis and Perez keeps third and Charles keeps fourth

• Latifi goes off and gets it back together but then collides with Mazepin and then has a big crash at high speed but still of course it involved Mazepin

• Lil Schumacher has a crash in the pit exit under safety car but he was trying to warm the tires and it just went right into the pit exit wall

• Just waiting for them to clean up the LATIFI and Schumacher crash

• Early in the race Charles overtook Perez for third when Perez went over

• Perez got out of shape under of safety car then regained places but and now they think that might now have been allowed

• Wild passes in the rain wet track in the midfield

• Charles is right behind Hamilton and looking really racey

• Perez says the steering wheel is moving by itself??? And they are looking into it

• This is just going to be one of those races where it’s impossible to report every single event because it’s so wild

• Sainz has an off but doesn’t lose any places and keeps going

• Gasly on the wet tires which turns out to be wrong and holding up many behind him in 9th who are on inters

• Perez is under investigation for overtaking behind the safety car

• Bottas is having a horrible race and on 12/63 he is only

• 10 second penalty for overtaking under the safety car and that is BRUTAL because this is the longest pit lane of any

• Originally reported it was a stop go penalty but it isn’t, it’s a ten second time penalty

• Carlos Sainz is having “huge adventures so far” off into the gravel

• 16/63 Gasly finally gets rid of the bad wet tires

• 16/63 Max reports it could be getting ready for not wet tires

• Apparently the tires are only just getting up to temperature on lap 16

• They ask Daniel to swap so they can see Lando’s pace in clear air which makes sense because he was so fast in quali with that one good lap deleted so they do swap

• Happy that they were able to keep Mick Schumacher still in the race with just a nose change from his pit wall crash so he is even still ahead of Mazepin

• 20/53 Charles reports the front tires are fine

• 22/63 Seb is first to stop and put on slicks

• Then immediately after he stops for slicks, Seb gets a 10 second stop go penalty for not having the wheels fitted at the 5 min interval before race start which still hasn’t been totally explained yet but was apparently a team wide brake by wire failure so they were trying to fix the rear breaks and had to do it quickly

• Bottas is really struggling in 9th and still stuck behind Stroll

• 28/63 MAX PITS FIRST and Mercedes hope they can go fast and beat Max back out of the pits but they’re slow with a 4 second stop and Max keeps the lead, also seemed to be an Alfa Romeo in the mix Hamilton May have had to wait for thankfully

• They pit Sainz first for Ferrari

• 31/63 Bottas is lapped by Max wowwww this is unusual

• 32/63 HAMILTON GOES OFF AND CRASHES AND GOES OFF INTO THE GRAVEL AND GETS LAPPED. He stays in the race unfortunately but it’s an embarrassing mistake and thank heaven for this

• 32/63 RUSSELL AND BOTTAS HAVE A HUGE CRASH and both hit the wall and then it looked like George went over to see if Bot was alright but then Bot flipped him off and it turned out that GR was actually yelling at him probably and they were both blaming each other and there’s so much debris that it’s a RED FLAG

• Thank goodness that they missed collecting Kimi and Mick Schumacher in the Bot/GR crash

• Red flag over and now they’re doing a rolling start instead of a standing start like they thought

• Kimi has a spin before restart

• MAXY ALMOST SPINS Before restart but saves it, WOW

• NORRIS PASSES CHARLES INTO 2nd at the restart

• Yuki Tsunoda has a slow spin on the restart but he does get it going again and no safety car again just yellow flag thank goodness so Yuki keeps going

• NOOOO Perez goes off and loses places all the way to 14th

• Lace on the radio “what’s happening with the shifts?!” And they have an issue but keeping going

• Making a big deal of Hamilton making back places but it’s moments like this that I feel like this sport is the worst because as long as Hamilton is in it, then the gets the advantage somehow in that unfair car and I wish he had just been stuck in the gravel and out but noooo that would be too easy and like what happens to all the other cars in the field

• Vettel and Stroll are both dealing with gear problems, another problem like the brake thing early before the race that is affecting both Aston Martins

• Tsunoda gets a black and white flag for track limits

• Ugh since Perez’s off, he’s in 13th now instead of out front where he should be

• Hamilton fails are his first attempt to get past Sainz into 4th and has to pull out

• Charles keeps Hamilton back as long as he can beautifully

• 54/63 Hamilton passes Charles into third and I hate this sport

• Tsunoda gets a five second time penalty for track limits

• 60/63 Hamilton gets past Lando for second SHOOOOOT

• 61/63 Mazepin JUST has another spin for good measure, just had to get one more in before the end of the race I guess

• On the last few laps Vettel has to retire for gearbox issues wowwwww

• MAX WINS IN ITALY!!!!!! First time winning in Italy

• Hamilton in second and LANDO IN THIRD WOOOOOOOOO YESSSSSS a fantastic drive from Norris

• AND CHARLES IN FOURTH WOOOOOOOOOOO and then Sainz

• In Lando’s interview they said he was voted driver of the day and he said “they did? I didn’t think I had any fans but thank you very much”

• Lewis was just lucky ie this whole sport is a joke

• But also I love celebrating Max and Lando on the podium

BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX 2021

The first race of the season is finally here! And it was filled with plenty of drama.

Max Verstappen dominated the entire weekend, only to lose the race because of a ridiculous track limits call which gave the win to Hamilton instead. Of course, the stewards only chose to enforce track limits when it was Max passing Hamilton. It doesn't matter that Hamilton's laps were outside of track limits for 29 laps of the race, which is documented on social media.

Truthfully, I still feel like Max won despite the stewards call. He did everything right this weekend.

This was an awesome race to watch, though, with high intensity battles and stress throughout.

Other major highlights: Mazepin has the most embarrassing start to any F1 driver's career I've ever seen, already earning him the nickname "Mazespin" before the weekend was even over. He interrupted qualifying and immediately pulled a safety car in the race without making it through three corners.

This was also the race when Perez's Red Bull died on the formation lap and they had to do a second formation lap, but fortunately, they were able to get his car back going and fought his way back up the field brilliantly all the way to 6th place.

Also, this incredible post by the Reserve Drivers was pretty much the whole weekend summed up: "Max Verstappen Penalized for Track Limits and Not Being Lewis Hamilton".

Here are my notes:

FP1

• NEW TITLE SEQUENCE!!

• Watching the first practice live!

• WOWW so dazzled by all the new!!

• As of the start of this season, Racing point is now Aston Martin and Renault is now Alpine

• One big change from last season is that FP1 is now only an hour. Before this it has always been an hour and a half for FP1 and FP2, but now both are an hour I think

• They have new little icons next to their names on the wide of the screen, much more detailed

• Interesting that Mick Schumacher’s abbreviation isn’t SCH, it’s MSC, which they said is a nod to his Dad’s abbreviation when he was racing

• Have already in the first five minutes been told about Lewis’s knighting hahahahah

• The first person on track is Alonso of course

• The first person to mess up us Ocon of course

• It’s so weird to see Seb in a green car

• Awww Red Bull’s wing is of course no longer Aston Martin because they left and now it says Honda but also Honda is going to leave them we already know and it’s so unfair

• Stroll radios in asking for wind direction and they responded “wind direction is nonexistent”

• They have Ted, Karun, Jensen and Natalie for the first time talking over doing commentary, I wonder where Crofty is?

FP2

• okay now Crofty is back! Talking with Karun and Paul

• All FP2 sessions are also an hour instead of an hour and a half now

• This is the session that they’re saying is going to count because it is much more similar to the temperature for quali and race

• Mercedes lowest mileage at the tests of any team

• First person to spin this year is Mazepin

• Ocon has a huge lockup early in and has to go off

• Okay but WHY is Seb the only one wearing a hat in his replay clip????? This just confirms that there is a Seb hair conspiracy that he is bald and he’s trying to hide it like we saw from the testing picture and it’s just such a confirmed conspiracy

• Oops Kimi lost power and went into the wall and lost his front wing but I guess every year there has to be someone who hits the wall first every year

• The Williams technical director I think is named Francois Xavier (zah-vee-ay) DuMaison and that’s like one of the best names I’ve ever heard

• Bottas radios in very unhappy with the car, at the end of the session calls it undriveable

• Yuki has a problem with his car and misses the end of the session

FP3

• watching on Comcast and yesterday watching on F1 tv and there were no commercials on F1 tv and there are commercials on Comcast. But I had to watch on F1 tv yesterday because FP1 and FP2 wasn’t being shown on Comcast but maybe it’s better to watch on F1 tv so no commercials because otherwise I am missing constant coverage which I know there is

• Bottas goes out and it’s immediately bad on braking and just not getting the brake retardation he is expecting and for some reason this is not optimized yet for him and it’s still undriveable like he called it yesterday

• Charles has really low grip and has a quick spin at the same corner that Kimi hit at yesterday

• Lando waves at Carlos in the Ferrari as he goes by

• Schumacher has a spin and so does Mazepin

• Of course Hamilton’s Mercedes is fully functional and Bottas car is not

• Alpha Tauri apparently broke the curfew to work on cars last night

• The FIA announced they are going to randomly take apart one car after every session to make sure all is up to standards .... I don’t think I believe that

• Bottas keeps having lap times deleted for going over track limits at turn 4

• They mentioned yesterday that Charles is sitting really high in his car to the point where he might be over the top of the halo and they don’t know why because he doesn’t struggle for height. Also said Seb was sitting high in his car too

• These new blue and yellow Williams designs look soooo different

• George Russell has a Murray Walker tribute on his halo

• Yellow flag for Mazepin having a spin and ruining one of Max’s fast laps

• Something came off the front left of Seb’s car and allegedly "hit him in the face"

• Paul Diresta says that Hamilton is having to work less hard to get his car to work and I love that Paul is always saying things that are onto the Mercedes conspiracy

• The two most puzzling teams pace are astin Martin/racing point/force India and Alpine/Renault

• Max just put down an AMAZING lap at the end of the session that took .7 sec out of Hamilton’s best time

Qualifying

• yep talking about the Lewis being knighted again already, geez

• Mazepin spins again! Already so many spins this weekend. Turn 13 this time

• WOAH Crofty repeated that people on social media are calling Mazepin « Mazespin » WOAHHHH

• Okay Yuki Tsunoda put in an INCREDIBLE lap in Q1 and is in 2nd place between Max in 1st and Hamilton in 3rd

• Max accidentally damaged his floor during his fast lap in Q1 and now they’re like oh no he could have ruined his chances at pole but everyone leave him alone, he can do it

• Mazepin spins AGAIN at the end of Q1 and yellow flags the sector

• WOAH MAJOR surprise as end of Q1 and eliminates Ocon, Latifi, Vettel, Schumacher, and Mazepin

• Ocon blames the yellow flags for getting out but Karun looked at the replay and said the yellow flag wasn’t why he was slow

• Weirdly Sainz was in 15th at the end of Q1 and his car may have just stopped working?? Yeah he went over a bump and the car just DIED and he had to roll into the pits

• Yeah it seems that Seb is officially cursed since he caught both of Mazepin’s yellow flags for spins

• In Q2, Daniel and Perez have fast laps deleted for track limits

• WOAHHHHHH Out in Q2, Perez, Gio, Tsunoda, Kimi and Russell

• At the end of Q2, Sainz and Charles at top 2!! Sainz only beat .001 second HUHHH

• Somehow alo is in for Q2

• THIS IS SO WEIRD

• Another commercial again, umm WHAT is with these commercials in quali?? We have NEVER had commercials before

• I still can’t believe Seb got out in Q1 and they interviewed him and he looks disappointed

• They risked keeping the mediums on Perez and it just didn’t work for him but this is so not his fault

• Our Comcast shut off for an amber alert right at the start of Q3 and I know that’s important BUT THEN IT DIDNT GO AWAY for like FIVE WHOLE MINUTES and now I have to wait until quali is over to watch the recording from where we were or it will be spoiled

• Saw their first runs in Q3 and Max comes out on top!! Then Ham, then Gasly and Bottas!

• Ferrari hasnt sent out Charles yet and Alpine hasn’t sent out Alonso yet and there’s only 5 min left

• WOOOO MAX GETS POLE!!!!! Such a huge celebration! He beat Hamilton in 2nd by like .6 of a second too, a huge margin!! Truly showing some amazing pace

• Max’s first back to back pole I think!!

• Hamilton in second, Bottas in third (despite having a car that isn’t great right now)

• Max didn’t wear a mask for his post interview and it was SO nice to see his face!!

• David Coulthard interviewed people after the quali and it was DC’s birthday and Max brought a cake out and then showed him the writing on it and then pied him in the face the hardest I’ve ever seen anyone be pied in the face!

Pre-Race

• Just announced that Seb will have a penalty at race start. He qualified 18th but then the stewards saw that he didn’t slow for Mazepin’s spin on a fast lap and so they gave him a 5 place grid penalty so all that means from 18th is that he’s starting plumb last

• A really funny and cute interview with Daniel on his first day at McLaren and joking around with Ted as he’s taking the car out for the first time

• A verrrrry extensive interview with « sir Lewis » ughh

• Murray Walker tribute which is absolutely beautiful

• They did a disturbing we race as one thing

Race

• On the formation lap, Perez pulls over to the side because his Red Bull is totally dead!! So they have to do a second formation lap while they clear Perez. Perez gets the engine power back and he goes to the end of the pit lane to start. Perez was super calm through the whole thing

• Max keeps the lead in front of Hamilton and Charles chalenges Bottas for 3rd but Charles keeps 4th

• Max immediately notices a throttle issue or something that is bothering him

• It takes Mazepin 3 corners at the back of the pack to fly into the same corner that Grosjean flew into last season in his fiery crash but Mazepin is totally fine and his crash takes him out of the race and causes a first lap safety car

• I think Mazepin’s terrible start to this season all weekend with all the constant spinning is the most embarrassing start to a rookie’s F1 career I’ve ever seen

• After safety car, Charles ans Max have awesome starts again, super racey

• Gasly makes contact with the back of a McLaren and then loses his front wing and it puts him in the back of the pack

• Mick Schumacher has a spin at just like Mazepin BUT Mick is able to get the car back on track but he’s second to last behind Gasly, triggers a virtual safety car which is quick

• Charles gives Bottas a heck of a fight trying to keep 3rd and it’s awesome

• Max reports the diff problem again and is serious telling them to find it

• Sainz and Stroll have a small brush and Sainz loses something from the car but they continue on

• Perez is flying from his nightmare start problems and the extra formation lap and the pit lane start. By 12/56, Perez is already in 11th

• Alonso pits early on lap 11

• 14/56 Hamilton pits from second to try and trigger Max to pit next lap but Red Bull doesn’t have Max come in next lap to extend the stint so Max can build the gap

• 17/56 Max pits and has an okay stop, just a teeny bit long but fine and Max is in 2nd now but they are expecting another stop for everyone

• 22/56 Seb, who is the only one who hasn’t pitted yet, locks up and goes off at turn 1 but gets back into it

• Gasly is still in last at half distance after losing his front wing and getting damage earlier so he hasn’t been able to make up places

• Yuki does a big pass on

• Otmar complaining about the regulation changes when they talk to him on the pit wall and later Ted says they could have asked Otmar what he had for breakfast and he would have complained about the regulation changes

• 31/56 pit Bottas and it’s a SUPER long stop of 10.9 seconds because they couldn’t get the front right off and it just ruins any chance Bottas has of catching Hamilton for second and puts him out in 7th

• 32/56 Christian Horner radios Max who is back in the lead because of Hamilton’s second stop and Christian says that both Mercedes have been using the exit on turn 4 which is supposed to be illegal for track limits so he says feel free to use it too until they tell us not to which I think was a perfect political message to make the stewards reprimand Mercedes for doing something by wrong because he knew that if Red Bull started doing it then the stewards would pay attention

• 33/56 Alonso has lost front brakes and has to retire

• 37/56 George Russell and Kimi have a scary scrap

• 38/56 Mercedes tells Hamilton that he will get a penalty for track limits if he goes over track limits again and hamilton says he thought there were no track limits and that he’s been doing the same thing all race and it’s amazing because Christian Horner totally radioed The message to Max was totally to alert the stewards and it worked beautifully

• Max has to pit again so the end of the race comes down to Max having to chase down Hamilton at the end of the race and he starts to lessen the gap immediately

• Yghhhh there’s another record hamilton is beating for Schumacher somehow again? Number of race laps led or something, five thousand and I don’t know

• 45/56 Ocon and Vettel have a collision spin but it was minimal and they don’t even need a safety car but it was just a clumsy incident. Seb locked up and then accused Ocon of changing line and then Martin said that when he saw the replay it was 100 percent Seb’s fault. Weird incident

• Crofty is recapping saying Alonso is out with suspected brake problems and Mazepin is out with "suspected crashing out problems" hahahhaah WOW

• 51/56 HAMILTON LOCKS UP and Max is RIGHT on his tail for the lead!!

• 53/66 MAX GETS THE LEAD but went off the track on turn 4 to do it and then Red Bull tells him to give it back because stewards would say it is not legit so MAX HAS TO GIVE IT BACK

• Vettel gets a 10 second time penalty for causing a collision with Ocon

• COME ON MAX, SOOOO INTENSE IF MAX CAN GET LEAD FOR ALL THE LAST 15 LAPS and it’s so unfair that Hamilton gets to go off on turn 4 all race until Max started doing it and then Max gets by him on that turn and Max is gonna get punished by having to give it back

• Bottas in pit to go for fastest lap

• Max has a critical slide after having to give the position back and it doesn’t give him DRS out of the pit straight and that puts him a tiny bit behind

• SUPER TENSE FIGHTING BETWEEN MAX AND HAMILTON the whole end of the race WOWWWWWW

• In the end, Hamilton JUST gets over the line first and wins and then Max in second and Bot in third. Norris in fourth! Perez in 6th after starting last which was an amazing drive. Bot got fastest lap. Charles in 6th!! Awesome drive for Charles too!

ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX

Original race dates: December 11 - 13, 2020

Summary: Not a big action weekend, except that Max won his second race of the year from pole! That was really exciting for me. There wasn't a lot of on-track action, though, unless you count the best of the rest constructors championship stuff going on. And it was the season finale. At that point, I really needed a rest. This season was CRAZY.

FP1

• Latifi released right in front of Max in the pit lane and they’re investigating it and Max called them an idiot

• Hamilton has a time deleted for track limits and broke the car trying too hard

• Max’s hand got caught on the wall on the inside of the car because it’s tight in there

• surprisingly no one has incident on the opening laps

• Max continues to lead from Pole

• Perez car dies on lap 10 and it’s so sad because they show his dad in the garage and it’s Perez last race so the car just died so not a great time because he won last time and we were really hoping he would do well since he doesn’t have a seat for next year

• Sainz under investigation for going unnecessarily slowly in the pit lane and allowing time for the team to double stack
