Qualifying

- ugh Sainz on pole and Charles second but he will get a 10 place penalty for engine stuff

- Maxy third

Race

- the owner of Red Bull passed away yesterday

- Sainz started from pole but Max had an awesome start and was way ahead by the first corner and then George Russell and Sainz collided and spun Sainz around and he’s last!! And then he had a puncture and is out the of the race! BEAUTIFULLLLLL, couldnt not have worked better for me

- George has a five second time penalty for causing a collision

- With all the penalties, by the first few laps of the race, Stroll is in third WHAT is happening

- Latifi spins out within 5 laps, probably from it being really windy, so he’s last again

- Sergio has damage in his front wing end plate and it flies off

- Bottas goes off and safety car

- Early 20s laps, HUGE incident between Stroll and Alonso which almost launches Alonso into the air and he was on his back wheels only for a while. Lots of smoke and debris but fortunately neither of them are hurt but MAN that was a scary one and amazing no one else hit them

- 30/56 Charles does a fantastic move to get past Sergio into third

- 5 second time penalty for Gasly being too far behind the safety car

- 36/56 they pit Hamilton to undercut and so they pit max to respond and it’s like an ELEVEN SECOND STOP AND IT RUINS EVERYTHING because the front left doesn’t tighten properly and Charles gets ahead of him and now Max is P3 and it’s Chaos now and now it looks like Hamilton will win NO

- Now Gasly has another penalty for not serving the penalty correctly, man he’s having a bad day

- Now Maxy and Charles are scrapping and they are the future, the racing is so good

- Ugh Hamilton is leading now NO

- Seb had a 16.8 second stop UGHHH and he was leading the race before albeit one stop behind the true leader

- Kevin under investigation for ignoring yellow flags

- Latifi and Schumacher under investigating for causing a collision

- Latifi given a penalty for forcing another driver off the track

- 51/26 Max gets Hamilton and Max is leading again!! YESSSSSSSSSS THANK GOD

- Track limits coming into play for both Max and Hamilton and Hamilton is trying his best to tattle on Max for track limits to get a win back but he won’t be able to, Hamilton also has a ton of track limits things too

- MAX WINNSSSSSSS YESSSSSSSSSS and then Hamilton and then Charles

- First time Charles has 5 back to back podiums

- RED BULL ARE CONSTRUCTORS CHAMPIONS

JAPANESE GRAND PRIX 2022

MAX WINS the world championship for the second time here!

Race

- OH MY GOSH it’s RAINING at SUZUKA

- 100% rain this whole race

- Charles gets a better start than Max but then Max zooms past and gets ahead

- First lap, Seb aquaplanes down the straight and collided with Alonso and then goes off but continues

- First lap, Sainz aquaplanes and goes into the wall, then the car lands back into the middle of the track with all the cars going by in the spray and it’s a miracle no one hit him so anyway Sainz it out

- First lap, Pierre somehow collects a giant advertising board that was fallout from the Sainz crash and it totally blocks his vision

- First lap, Albon had a mechanical failure and parks it alongside the track

- Okay 3/53 they’ve Red flagged it, it’s so rainy and dangerous

- there was a two and a half hour delay and then it started again with forty minutes of racing left. I did not think it was going to start again but we stayed up anyway just in case cause what if Max won the championship tonight? So it did start and then at the last corner of the last lap, Charles went across a runoff and the stewards gave him a penalty for going off the track and gaining an advantage WHILE they were doing the post race interviews and Johnny Herbert called Max back over and told home he was champion. Then Max said in the cool down someone had said he wasn’t champion, so he wasn’t, but then someone else said he was and he was like "are you sure?" And it was all very surreal and confusing. But so happy for Dutch child!! Two time world champion!!

- MAX VERSTAPPEN IS A TWO TIME WORLD CHAMPION

SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX 2022

- Pierre has a big fire on his way into his garage in FP2

- People skimming the walls everywhere

- FP3 is essentially rained out

Qualifying

- more rain and the track is wet

- out in Q1: Bot, Ricciardo, Ocon, Albon, Latifi

- Out in Q2: Russell, Stroll, Lil Schu, Seb, Zhou

- Lots of drama at the end here where they told Max to abort his last two laps of Q3 and he was furious on the radio and they said it was because he was going to run out of fuel to sample but it was suspicious

- Charles on pole, then Sergio, then Hamilton so that’s weird

Race

- rain delay for a full hour and then they let them run around on the wet track to dry it out for ten minutes and it is finally going to start

- Rain race in Singapore is a crazy idea

- Max is starting from eighth

- Perez gets ahead to the lead in the race start

- Sainz pushed hamilton off track at the front lol

- Max has a bad start because it almost goes into antistall and loses places so is trying to make up for it

- Hamilton gets on the radio and says I told you about these tires and in future you need to listen to me LOL

- 7/62 Latifi has a puncture

- At the same time as Latifi, Zhou parks it and yellow flag

- So yep Latifi drove Zhou into the wall and put them both in the wall but then Zhou is out and Latifi and continue

- Full safety car to clean up Zhou

- And when Latifi pits he is unfixable and is retiring

- George and Valterri have a little touch and George ends up spinning but they both continue

- 21/61 Alonso stops on his 350th race and retires for engine problems! He was holding up max in 7th and then his car just died and now there’s a vsc

- Yuki nearly crashes and then is in the middle of the road stopped and nearly takes out Stroll too

- George pits for slicks and it is WAY too early and everyone k re this and he already did this one other time this season so I have no idea why GEORGE did that except that he’s so far back in like 17th cause he was going nowhere so maybe nothing to lose but he is not going to be able to stay on these

- 26/31 Alex crashes but is able to get it out of the wall and head back to the pits but he has no front wing and it’s left in the track and it triggers virtual safety car and Alex has to retire

- 28/61 Ocon pulls over and is smoking and there’s oil coming out of his car and retires and there’s a virtual safety car again

- When it goes green again Max went a little prematurely before the vsc had ended to pass Lando

- 33/61 HAMILTON CRASHES in an unforced error but then takes it out of the wall and is driving around with his front wing about to fall off and is holding off max and then hamilton does put and have a slow stop to charge the wing

- Pit Charles but has a long stop

- 36/61 now YUKI crashes at 80 mph into a barrier and it triggers a full safety car and damaged the barrier

- Now everyone is putting for slicks

- Maxy puts a move on Lando and locks up and goes straight on and has to pit to last

- Perez safety car infringement

- George drove into lil Schu and had puncture

- WoW this is really one thing after another

- Charles is so close to first behind Perez for the last 20 minutes

- Sergio Perez investigated after the race (even though he’s in first) for safety car infringement

- Sergio wins!! Charles in second and Sainz in third, Max finished seventh
